Since December 26, 1990, when three friends founded HTI in a Brazilian IT market closed by law, our obsession has been one thing only: making data work flawlessly — in any technology, at any scale, under any condition.
HTI Tecnologia was born as a software developer — we created market best-sellers when Clipper and DBase were the state of the art. Over the years, we migrated to infrastructure, then to databases. It wasn't rebranding. It was the natural evolution of those who have always been in the deepest layers of technology.
Today, we are the only company in Brazil with professionals who actively participated in the creation of MySQL. We don't just operate the system — we know its essence. This defines the difference between certification and real mastery. Between executing a query and understanding why it behaves a certain way under certain conditions.

"Officially, we were born on 12/26/1990 by the hands of three musketeer-friends — Alexandre, Bastiaan and Fábio — we all worked together at a renowned food industry company. Exciting times: spreadsheets were Lotus 123, text editors were WORDSTAR, databases were Dbase. The Brazilian IT market was closed by law. We started anyway."

Alexandre, Bastiaan and Fábio found HTI in a Brazilian IT market closed by law. The era of Clipper, C and Dbase. They start programming "wildly".
TedLib (library for Clipper programmers), OdonthoPlus (first dentist app with GUI), SchoolMax (school management) and Questor (Brazil's first pilot training app — so popular it was plagiarized by a major aviation company).
Launch of Admtech — Business Management System for SMBs, written in Clipper + C. Start of partnership with HP as major server, storage and desktop supplier. Shortly after, Cisco partnership for network equipment.
Development of PaintPlus for PPG — application that dosed pigments for automotive repaint formulation. Supply of 3,000+ computers for the PPG distributor network in Brazil. Roll out of 1,500 switches and 50 routers for Unibanco with minimum downtime.
Major call center company RFP — supply and installation of 12,000+ HP computers, 250+ servers and Cisco equipment. In the same period, HTI officially brings the AVAST antivirus to Brazil.
Connection with the MySQL creator and the open source community. Beginning of contributions with code submissions, fixes and free tools: alemonitor, alebkp, alejuice. The database DNA begins to define the company's future.
HTI becomes an Authorized MySQL Education Center (AMEC) by Oracle University — an achievement obtained twice. Training of 1,000+ DBAs in official courses. Database specialization becomes the total focus.
Consolidation as a national reference in database sustaining. Start of Remote DBA service with dedicated NOC. Development of DBSnoop — proprietary behavioral database monitoring tool with AI.
Operations centralized with controlled physical room, restricted access, dedicated rack. 1,000+ production servers managed. Clients like Brazilian Army, SAAB/SISFRON, Stone, BMW, Porto Seguro. Launch of HTI AI vertical.

Authorized MySQL Education Center by Oracle University. The highest certification for MySQL training centers in the world — achieved twice by HTI.
